On 10.04.2023 in the town of. The first meeting of representatives of the tourism sector in Greece was held in Alexandroupolis. The meeting was organized by the association "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" funded by the INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.
The meeting aimed to discuss the benefits of collaborating with Bulgarian partners within the tourism industry and to explore effective communication strategies for gaining business insights. They discussed opportunities for joint marketing initiatives, cross-border tourism packages and cultural exchange programmes to attract more visitors and improve the overall tourism experience.
Discussions focused on the importance of effective communication strategies to gain business insights and foster collaboration. Participants exchanged ideas on using digital platforms, such as social media, email newsletters and online forums, to communicate with partners and stakeholders, share information and gather feedback.
The meeting concluded with the participants' commitment to explore opportunities for collaboration with Bulgarian partners and to adopt effective communication strategies to gain business insights. Action points were identified, including establishing communication channels with Bulgarian travel agencies, organising joint promotional events and using digital tools for information sharing and collaboration.
