A regular meeting was held in the Tourism Sector
On 20.09.2022 at 18:00 in "Znanie" Hall - Sofia. Haskovo held a regular meeting of the Business Council concerning the tourism sector in the border regions of Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Kardzhali and Smolyan, and the activity is carried out under the project "Business Council – BC 6275" funded by the INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract No B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.
The meeting was attended by 12 people, representatives of the tourism sector from the border regions of Haskovo, Kardzhali, Blagoevgrad and Smolyan. The Tourism Business Council meeting started on time in attendance mode.
The moderator of the event welcomed all attendees, making an agenda suggestion to the members present.
Once again, the main problem was the lack of constructive communication with the representatives of the local government, since after the Order of the Mayor of the municipality, they are forced to use a cash register to sell their items, but on the other hand, this is not a legal obligation for the artisans, since they are self-employed (freelancers). The case sparked a heated discussion - the options for solving the problem were discussed.
The Beneficiary undertook to write a letter to the Mayor to request information about the case and to organize a round table to clear up the problem.
Attendees asked questions about the possibilities of selling products online - answers to the questions will be given by the moderator at the next Business Council meeting.
