In the town of. On 10.07.2023, a regular meeting of the Business Council in the Technology Sector was held in Xanthi. The meeting was organized by "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" funded by the INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 Programme, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.
The fifth day of the Xanthi meeting on 10 July 2023 focuses on addressing software needs in the technology sector. Participants engaged in discussions on the prevailing lack of project management organization and software among Greek enterprises. The importance of adopting such tools to streamline operations, improve efficiency and increase productivity was highlighted.
The presence of participants from the IT sector and software development businesses provided valuable insight into the specific software needs and challenges faced by Greek enterprises. Discussions revolved around identifying appropriate software solutions and bridging the skills gap in the use of such technologies.
One participant shared insights gained from previous collaborations with Bulgarian companies, highlighting their approach to tackling similar software challenges. Lessons learned and best practices from Bulgarian partners served as valuable starting points for exploring potential solutions in the Greek context.

Discussions centered around the importance of training and skills enhancement initiatives as well as the potential for collaborative efforts with Bulgarian companies to address common challenges.
