On 26.10.2023 in the town of Eleftheroupoli, Kavala, was held a meeting of the Business Council in the agricultural sector. The event focused on innovative projects, biotechnology, new products for farmers and opportunities for cooperation.

Highlights:

- Innovation and Sustainable Growth - A ground-breaking project to modernise the agri-food sector was presented, with a focus on sustainability and technological innovation.

- Trends in the bio-industry - Biotechnology and organic farming were discussed as key factors for increasing productivity and environmental sustainability.

- New Products and Market Opportunities - Participants learned about new crops suitable for local production, which sparked interesting discussions on diversification of production and access to markets.

- Networking to tackle challenges - The importance of business collaboration to overcome market volatility and regulatory change was highlighted.
