
INNOVATION AND MARKET TRENDS IN AGRI-FOOD BUSINESS
On 13 October 2023, the second meeting of the Agri-Food Business Council was held at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki on the importance of strategic business planning and new market trends in Europe.
Highlights of the discussion:
- Expert analysis by a PhD student in agri-food business - The presentation provided valuable guidance for building a successful entrepreneurial strategy based on both research and practical experience.
-The importance ofa good business plan - Key elements such as market analysis, financial strategy, marketing and risk management were discussed. Participants learned how strategic planning can ensure sustainability and success in the sector.
- Emerging trends in agri-food business in Europe - The discussion covered sustainable farming practices, digitalisation, food traceability and consumer preferences. Innovative business models and examples from across Europe that can inspire local entrepreneurs were presented.
The second council meeting provided a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between students and business professionals. By discussing innovative trends and best practices, participants were provided with tools for successful adaptation and development in the dynamic agri-food sector.
The event was organized by the association "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E." under the project "Business Council - BC 6275", funded by the INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 Programme, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.
